Arranged Marriage

         The night before her wedding ,she was very nervous.The wedding preparations were going on.The relatives have started to come and the local people were doing all sort of help for the wedding to happen.Everyone was happy to be there.But she was nervous.

       She is the only child and she grew up with all the affection from her parents.Her father was very proud to have his daughter getting arranged marriage.He might have been disappointed if his only daughter had loved someone.He told everyone of his friends proudly about his daughter’s arranged marriage.The reason for his pride is because she had been a child as he preferred.She obeyed him in all ways.The perfect child to any parent.But she was nervous that night.

     Her father and mother kissed their daughter before going to sleep and said “sleep well dear.Tomorrow you have to be the most beautiful girl than ever,so sleep well and be fresh”.They blessed her and smiled at her ,hiding their worries because that would be her last night with her parents.They went to their room and tried to sleep but kept speaking about their daughter.Even though they felt about their daughter’s separation, they still wanted the marriage to be well spoken one.And they slept finally after some hours of discussion.But she was not able to sleep.She was constantly thinking about tomorrow.She was reminding her days how her father took care of her.She was thinking that she had done injustice to her father despite his love and care.She was afraid what will her father think if he comes to know about that.By thinking that she too slept.
The wedding morning everyone got ready with the bride glittering bright.It is obvious that the bride will be center of attraction.Though she was bright ,she still had the fear in her mind.It was time that the bride groom reached the church for the wedding.Her heart was pumping hard as the bride groom was approaching her.The rituals started and finally they exchanged their ring.This was the moment she was waiting for.She was the happiest girl now since she had married the boy whom she loved since her college days.She was happy that she married her loved one without hurting her father.

    After the wedding was over father cried with mother telling “She is happy with her loved one as she expected to be and i feel proud that she has chosen the right person”.
